    • Example (HR Sourcer): “You have 20 minutes to draft six distinct, personalized LinkedIn outreach messages for six different senior engineering candidate profiles we’ve provided. The goal is to maximize engagement.”
    • What to look for: How effectively do they use AI to scale the task? Do they maintain quality and personalization despite the pressure? Can they quickly adapt AI suggestions?

       

  2. The Novel Problem-Solver:
    • Scenario: Present a challenge that is likely outside their direct expertise, requiring them to learn, adapt, and propose a solution using AI as a primary resource.
    • Example (Java Developer being tested for adaptability): “We need a conceptual outline and pseudocode for a simple sentiment analysis function. You are encouraged to use AI to understand the basics of sentiment analysis and to help structure a solution, even if you need to research a new programming concept or library (e.g., using Python for this if they are a Java expert).”
    • What to look for: Their resourcefulness in formulating effective prompts for learning, their ability to break down a complex, unfamiliar problem, and how they iterate with AI to build understanding and a solution.

       

  3. The Brainstorming & Ideation Partner:
    • Scenario: Ask the candidate to generate creative solutions, diverse perspectives, or a range of ideas for a specific topic, using AI to broaden their thinking.
    • Example (Marketing Specialist): “Develop three distinct campaign concepts, including target audience, key messaging, and one unique content idea for each, for launching a new eco-friendly coffee subscription service. Use AI to help explore different angles and audience segments.”
    • What to look for: Can they guide the AI to generate a diverse set of relevant ideas? How do they filter, combine, and refine AI-generated suggestions into coherent concepts?
